Conditions of Use


General Terms and Conditions Klaus Paul Buchverlag, hereinafter referred to as Verlag

§ 1 ScopeAll sales, deliveries and services of the publisher are made exclusively on the basis of the following terms and conditions. Contrary terms and conditions of the contracting parties are not recognized, even if they are not expressly contradicted. We refer to the price binding provisions of the German book trade and the latest traffic regulations for the book trade of the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels e.V.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract (1) The information on goods and prices in the context of the ordering process are not binding. The purchase contract for the items selected by the buyer is closed when we accept his order by the delivery of the goods. (2) Orders can be made via the Internet (e-mail) or by mail (3) The purchaser has the invoice immediately obvious written and arithmetic errors and deviations between order and delivery to check. § 3 Right of Withdrawal (1) The buyer has the right to revoke the conclusion of the contract, which becomes effective with the acceptance, at the latest with delivery of the goods, without justification and to return the goods. § 4 Prices (1) The invoices are based on the prices stated at the time of the order. (2) The prices include the statutory value added tax. (3) Packaging, transport and shipping costs shall be borne by the buyer.

§ 5 Delivery and Invoicing (1) Goods are delivered to the postal address of the purchaser. (2) Deliveries are usually made within one week of receipt of full payment.The delivery date may be extended in special cases. (3) The publisher is entitled to partial deliveries. For partial deliveries, the publisher bears additionally incurred shipping costs.

§ 6 Warranty and Liability (1) Any defects in the ordered goods must be notified in writing to the publisher upon receipt, but at the latest within one week after delivery. The defective goods shall be kept ready for inspection by the publisher in the condition in which they were at the time the defect was discovered. (2) Claims for damages due to a positive breach of contract, culpa in contrahendo or tort are excluded both against the publisher and against his vicarious agents unless the damage is intentional or improper (3) Any further liability, in particular for damages which are not incurred on the goods themselves, for loss of profit or other pecuniary loss of the customer are excluded.

§ 7 CopyrightsCopyright as well as all publishing and copyrights to the delivered products are with the publishing house. Commercial use and duplication of texts and photos are prohibited. This applies to all products of the publisher.

§ 8 Severability clause Should a provision in these terms and conditions be or become ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of all other provisions or agreements. The ineffective provision shall be replaced by one whose economic and legal meaning comes as close as possible to the original one.


§ 9 Place of jurisdiction (1) For these general terms and conditions and for the entire legal relations between the publishing house and the customer German right under exclusion of the UN sales law applies, even if from abroad is ordered or delivered abroad. (2) Jurisdiction for both Contracting party is the seat of the publisher.
